Mini-bus Driver

Job Type: Part-time

Licence/Certification: Clean UK driving license with D1 entitlement (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 08/09/2025

Ride High is seeking an experienced driver to join our driving team. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, trustworthy and enjoy working with children. This is a part-time/term time only role that consists of driving Ride High members to the centre and home again after their session has finished. Would suit a retired person who requires a few hours of work per week and can cover holidays and sickness. Would suit someone who lives in MK as the pick up and drop off drives have a two hour gap in between.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

The appropriate candidate must:

  • Hold a clean UK driving license with D1 entitlement.
  • Be open to having a full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take part in a test drive to assess their suitability for the position and demonstrate previous experience of driving and working with children.

Finance Manager

Ride High and its Trading Subsidiary are seeking a qualified accountant for a newly created Finance Manager position, working three days a week. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of both the charity and its trading subsidiary, ensuring the effective and responsible stewardship of financial resources to support the organisation’s mission in transforming the lives of vulnerable children

Club Leader

Salary: Up to £30,000 FTE, dependent on qualifications and experience
Full time: 5 days per week, 9am-5pm.
Location: Milton Keynes
Start date: October half-term if possible

Ride High is a registered charity working with Milton Keynes’ most vulnerable and disadvantaged children. Using horses and an associated educational programme the charity supports approximately 300 children over a period of 12-36 weeks, helping to transform their lives.

Our Club Leaders work as part of The Children’s Team organising and running the sessions with our members. Business Development Manager

Salary: FTE £37K OTE £45K

Fundraising Trustee

Voluntary Board Position (11 x 2 hour board meetings per year, plus 4 hours per month)

We are seeking to appoint a new Trustee to our Board who has the skills to fulfil the Fundraising Trustee role.

The role will bring a fresh perspective to fundraising plans and strategy and actively support the organisation’s dedicated fundraisers and will ensure fundraising is of the highest standard and priority.
