Ride MK Cycling Festival

Date: Sunday 14th June 2026

Location: Ride High Equestrian Centre, Loughton, MK5 8EJ

Returning for its second year, Ride MK is back – recharged with new routes and ready to be our best ride yet!

After an incredible debut in 2025, the Ride MK Cycling Festival is returning to Milton Keynes – celebrating our city’s love of cycling while raising vital funds for the local children’s charity Ride High.

This inclusive fundraising event invites riders of all ages and abilities to get involved, enjoy the ride, and make a difference. Choose from one of our four carefully planned routes: 100km and 50km road routes, 20km redway route or a 1.6km Ready Set Go route specifically for children under 8 years. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, there really is a route for everyone!

Starting and finishing at the Ride High Equestrian Centre in Loughton, the event promises a buzzing festival atmosphere on your return, with delicious food stands and family activities for participants and spectators alike. Every cyclist will receive a Ride MK medal to celebrate their achievement with the additional option of a free ice cream or bottle of beer!

It’s the perfect day of fun, fitness and fundraising – and participants are encouraged to raise what the can to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children across our city.

Please note:

  • Entries on the day will be available for the 25km and 1.6km routes.
  • If you plan to use an e-bike, it must be fully compliant with UK law (no ‘chipped’ or overpowered e-bikes).

About the routes

Start time: 7:30AM

Starting out and finishing at the Ride High Centre in Milton Keynes this three counties ride, (Beds Bucks and Herts), should be an exhilarating experience.

Most of the route will take you through some of the most beautiful countryside in the south of England including parts of the famous Chiltern Way.

Not without its challenges, the ride covers almost 3,500 of climbing, it should be gentle enough to take in and enjoy the scenery along the way. Or if preferred, gunning it as fast (safely, especially on some of the descents) as you can!

There are multiple opportunities to take on more fuel if needed along the route and one official refreshment stop.
