Last week the Mayor of Milton Keynes’ Lunch was held in aid of Ride High at the home of Marshall Amplification in Bletchley with special guest comedian Al Murray.
100 guests attended the exclusive event helping to raise vital funds for the charity of over £10,000. The event showcased local talent including MK College who provided the catering and local musician Jasmine Burns. Al Murray, also originally from Buckinghamshire had guests in stiches with his Pub Landlord routine.
Ride High is Milton Keynes Mayor David Hopkins’ charity for 2017/18.
Rachel Medill, Founder and CEO of Ride High said ‘We are extremely grateful to everyone that supported the Mayors’ Lunch. Special thanks of course to Mayor David Hopkins, to Marshall Amplification and to Al Murray. The money raised will help us to continue to support 80 of Milton Keynes’ most disadvantaged and vulnerable children each week’.
