Ride High is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a three-year grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, providing vital support for the charity’s work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children across Milton Keynes.
This is the second time Ride High has received National Lottery funding, reflecting continued confidence in the charity’s impact and the difference it makes in the local community. The funding will provide much-needed stability over the next three years, enabling Ride High to support more than 350 children each year through its unique programme combining horse riding, education and therapeutic support.
The grant will help transform the lives of young people by building confidence, resilience and essential life skills, giving them the opportunity to look forward to a more positive future.
Ride High would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who plays the National Lottery. It is thanks to their support that funding like this is possible, helping charities make a real difference in communities across the UK.
Sarah Mash, Grants Manager at Ride High, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to have secured this funding. A huge amount of work goes into applications like this, so to receive this grant is incredibly rewarding. It means we can continue delivering our programme with confidence, knowing we can support hundreds of children over the coming years.”
Olivia Sugdon CEO of Ride High, added:
“We are incredibly grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund and to all National Lottery players. This funding provides stability and allows us to plan for the future, ensuring we can continue to support vulnerable young people in Milton Keynes and change lives for the better.”
