  1. The Lottery is promoted by, and on behalf of, Ride High.
  2. For the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005, the Lottery is defined as a society lottery.
  3. In order to play the Lottery, players must be aged 16 or over and be resident in the UK.
  4. The Lottery will be drawn monthly.
  5. The monthly draws will be made at committee meeting between the 15th and 21st of each month.
  6. The proceeds will be devoted to:(a) the provision of prizes; and (b) the charitable objectives of Ride High. The prize fund each month will comprise 50% of the entries made for that month. To be split as follows; 1st place 67%, 2nd place 23% and 3rd place 10%.
  7. Each entry will cost £2 per month, payable in advance by standing order from the player’s bank account on the 15th of each month.
  8. Players may purchase more than one lottery number. Each entry is allocated a unique lottery number.
  9. On receipt of a completed entry form, Ride High will send a letter to acknowledge receipt of the player’s payment details and to confirm the player’s unique lottery number(s) and the date of the first draw the player will be entered in.
  10. Providing the player has paid for that month, his/her unique lottery number(s) will be entered in the corresponding draw. It is the responsibility of the player to check that payment has been made. If for any reason the due payment is not received in advance of the draw, the player’s unique lottery number(s) will not be entered in that or subsequent months’ draws until payment is again made.
  11. Prize winners will be notified by post and a cheque for the amount of the prize (and made payable to the prize winner) will be sent at the same time. The winning numbers will be published as soon as possible after each draw on the Ride High website (www.ridehigh.org) and will also be available from the Ride High office on request.
  12. Ride High reserves the right to use the winners’ names for promotional purposes. These will only be in summary (eg. Mr and Mrs Jones of Milton Keynes).
  13. Unpresented or returned prize cheques will be donated back to Ride High after three months.
  14. It is the player’s responsibility to advise Ride High of any change of address or bank details.

  16. Ride High reserves the right not to accept an entry form, or to cancel an existing subscription, without giving reason and at Ride High’s absolute discretion.
  17. A player may withdraw from the Lottery at any time. However, it is the player’s responsibility to cancel the standing order with their bank and to advise Ride High accordingly.
  18. Special draws for additional prizes may be held from time to time and details of these will be announced to all current players.
  19. These Terms and Conditions may be amended by Ride High to reflect changes in legislation or at their discretion but not so as to alter the basis
of the Lottery to affect adversely the interests of the players.
  20. Trustees of the charity cannot take part in the lottery.
